Design Brief Chalmers
Objective
The general objective is to design a durable, cost and eco efficient building structure to meet the requirements of transitional housing. The design efforts are to take off from – but not limit itself to – the Hexayurt structure. Paper is to be used as the main material. Specific areas of concern are flooring, ventilation and ground fixings.
More than meeting up with the strict commercial, infra-structural and manufactural constraints, the design team will need to verify the ecological and cultural impact of the final design.
